Camp Thompson Teen Camps are residential camp experiences for youth ages 12-15.  These adventure-filled activities focus on group dynamics, communcation, leadership and teamwork skills.  Each session is limited to 20 campers so sign up right away! Teen Expedition I  (Jul 26th - Jul 30th, 2010) "Rock and Beach Tour"  This tour will definately be the highlight of your summer!  We will be taking a rock climbing adventure for the first two days starting with the Apline Tower, moving to Sheaffer Rocks, and then making a trip to Annapolis Rocks in Maryland.  Once we finish climbing we will be on to Rehobeth Beach to begin our beach tour.  From Rehobeth Beach we will go to Ocean City, MD and finish the tour on Assateague Island.  During each stop we will be doing everything from crabbing, fishing, body boarding, beach front campfires, and more!  This trip is the perfect mix of adventure and relaxation!
Session II  (Aug 9th - Aug 13th, 2010) "Gone Fishing"-  During this trip teens will get a chance to experience some of the best fishing PA has to offer.  We will start the trip with local fishing in and around Central PA.  Then make our way to Lake Raystown for some big lake fishing.  While in Raystown will take some time to enjoy some tubing and other water sports.  Next we will go to Lake Redmen and continue our quest for the "Big One"!  The last leg of the trip will be spent in Ocean City, MD where your teens will get a chance to surf fish, pier fish, and take a boat out and do some real ocean fishing.  There is no skill level needed to participate in this trip.

Important Note About Teen Expeditions: Our teen expeditions are often reliant on environmental and weather conditions of the areas we are visiting.  Because of this unique factor, on some occasions we are unable to do all of the activities listed in our descriptions.  The decisions to not do particular activities is often a difficult one but one that is always based on putting the safety of our participants first.
