Strong Kids Campaign

At the Carlisle Family YMCA, we strive to make sure that every child's day brings about bigger and brighter acheivements but we can't do it alone!  Your support ensures that many children who otherwise would not be able to afford YMCA programs and services are included.  This year's Strong Kids Campaign is launched with an ambitious goal of raising $90,000.  We ask that you please give generously so that more kids and families in our community can share the YMCA experience. 


YMCA Community Impact Last Year - Here's how your dollars from the 2009 Strong Kids Campaign added up in service to youth.

  • Youth Programs & Youth Outreach - 780 youth were served through youth/teen programs and 1100 kids made the Y their after school hang out.   
  • Youth Sports - Last year's campaign served 1706 children participating in one of our youth sports programs 
  • Camping Services - The YMCA served 1567 campers last camping season and provided $34,171 in financial assistance. 
  • Child Care - 37 children from 6 weeks to 6 years old benefited from the campaign's support last year in our Child Care Center.
  • Aquatics - 5,426 individual swim lessons were provided to children and adults in our community.
The YMCA has 5,170 members with 2,636 members under the age of 18.  Financial assistance was provided to 1,060 people totaling $251,301.  This was made possible through Strong Kids Campaign and United Way allocations.
