We are looking for full-time Early Childhood Teachers for our Keystone STARS 4 Child Care Center. All three clearances required and 2,500 documented hours working with children. Health assessment required for employment. A minimum of an Associates Degree or CDA preferred. Full-time, Monday through Friday. Major holidays and weekends off. Full-time employees receive a free household membership to the Carlisle Family YMCA. Must have a love for children and be willing to interact and engage all children under your supervision.

School Age Chid Care Group Supervisor

The School Age Child Care Group Supervisor (GS) assists the SACC Supervisor with the SACC program. The GS would be on site each hour of the program, which is 21.25 hours a week. The shift times are 6:30-8:45am and 3:30-5:30pm Monday through Friday and starts Monday, August 28, 2017. The SACC program is held in the W.G. Rice Elementary School for the school year. During the summer, the SACC GS will get hours in our summer camp and child care programs at the Carlisle Family YMCA. An Associate’s Degree in a Human Services field or Education field with a minimum of two years of experience with children is required, or a Bachelor’s Degree in a Human Services field or Education field with no documented experience needed. Clearances, health assessment and TB test required.

Part-time Floater for Child Care Center

We are looking for a part-time floater in our Keystone Stars Level 4 Child Care Center. The candidate must have at least 2,500 documented hours of experience caring for children (can include volunteer work, church help, etc.) and must have or be willing to complete 3 clearances. A health assessment and a TB test also is required. Candidates will likely be in any of the three classrooms (infant, toddler or preschool). Flexible candidates with mostly open availability Monday through Friday are preferred, but scheduling restrictions and details can be discussed. A love for children and willingness to interact and learn are a must!

Fitness Center Monitor

The Carlisle Family YMCA is looking for a part-time Fitness Center Monitor to work at our One West Penn fitness center location. This sociable, interactive and energetic candidate should have prior work experience in the health and fitness field (teaching, instructing classes, personal training, etc.). This candidate also should have the patience and passion to work with One West Penn’s senior population. This position has a set schedule of Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 10am to 1pm. Camp Cook

The Carlisle Family YMCA is looking for a hard-working, motivated, outgoing individual who takes initiative and works well with others to fill the position of Camp Cook at Camp Thompson. Camp Cook is a part-time summer position for someone looking to thrive in the culinary field. The cook will call in food orders and edit, create and review menus for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Each meal serves about 110 people. Room and board is available. Additional staff will be available for prep help. Service\work times: Breakfast 6:30-10am, Lunch 10:30am-1pm, Dinner 4-7pm. Camp starts Sunday, July 9, 2017 (cook arrival by 1:30; dinner @ 5:35pm)  and goes through Saturday, August 5, 2017 (The last meal is Friday, August 4, followed by end of season cleaning on August 4-5).

Weekend Part-Time Custodian

We are looking for a part-time custodian to work weekends. Responsibilities include cleaning and sanitizing assigned areas of the facility, including mopping, dusting, trash removal and other responsibilities as assigned. Aquatics Staff

The Carlisle Family YMCA is hiring various Aquatics positions:
Certified Lifeguards - Reliable, certified lifeguards are needed for a variety of shifts. Lifeguards receive an hourly wage plus a free membership if you work a minimum of two shifts per week.
Swim Lesson Instructors - We are in need of swim lesson instructors who enjoy working with children and are willing to work 1-3 shifts per week. Sessions in May run Mon/Wed or Tues/Thurs evenings or Saturday mornings. Beginning in June sessions run Tues/Wed/Thurs mornings or evenings for 2-week cycles. Strong knowledge of the swimming strokes and experience is required.
Evening Supervisor - We are looking for a lifeguard-certified individual who can supervise our evening swim lessons from the pool deck. Swim lesson instructor experience preferred, but not required.
Water Exercise Instructors - We are looking for instructors to teach weekday and/or weekend water fitness classes at various times. Each class is one hour long. Certification or experience in teaching water fitness is desired.

Member Service Representatives

Energetic, motivated, outside-the-box thinkers wanted to work at our Welcome Center. The Carlisle Family YMCA has openings for part-time Member Service Representatives. Variety of shifts available. Must be able to work weekends. Strong sales and customer service experience a plus. Must have computer and internet skills.

Member Services representatives shifts are generally 4+ hours (standing) long 2 or 3 days a week with rotating weekend shifts. All applicants must be able to effectively multi-task while working your scheduled shift. Job responsibilities of a the position include, but are not limited to:
• Customer Service
• Membership Sales
• Promoting programs
• Point of contact in facility and/or medical emergencies
• Required to attend a monthly staff meeting and/or training
• Various other small projects as assigned
