Indoor Cycling Instructor

The Carlisle Family YMCA is currently looking to hire a part time indoor cycling instructor to teach permanent classes on Wednesday and Friday mornings from 9-10am. This instructor should be certified by a nationally accredited cycling organization. The candidate will have an outgoing, friendly personality with a passion for the Y and fitness. Full-Time Infant Assistant Teacher

We are looking for a full-time assistant teacher in our Infant Room (ages 6 weeks to 1 year) of our Keystone Stars Level 4 Child Care Center. Potential candidates must have a minimum of 2,500 documented hours working with children. This can include babysitting, volunteer work, etc. ECE college credits and/or child care center experience preferred but not required. Hours are Monday through Friday 9am-6pm with a one-hour lunch. Pay rate will be based on experience and includes benefits and a Y membership. A health assessment and TB test must be submitted before first day of employment.

Child Watch Staff

We are looking for Child Watch staff to provide quality care for children while parents are working out on campus. This is a part-time position working about 6-10 hours a week. More hours may be possible if interested. Hours would be a mix of morning (8:45am-12pm) and evening (5-8pm) hours during the weekdays (no Friday evening hours). The ability to work at least one Saturday morning a month from 8:30am-12:15pm very strongly preferred. No Sunday hours. Some flexibility in hours preferred. Responsibilities include taking care of children ages newborn to age 8. The children will not be left in your care for over two hours at a time and the parents remain on site.

Part-time Floater for Child Care Center

We are looking for part-time floaters for morning and/or midday hours Monday through Friday in our Keystone Stars Level 4 Child Care Center. Flexibility to work additional hours when needed is preferred. Floaters would work in all three rooms (infant, toddler and preschool) depending where help is most needed for the day. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent. A minimum of 2,500 documented hours working with children is required. This can include volunteer work, church help, etc. Child abuse clearances and a state background check is required. This position requires a physical and TB test to be submitted before hire.

On-Call Substitute Teacher

We are in need of an on-call substitute teacher for our Keystone Stars Level 4 Child Care Center. There are no set hours – this candidate would be called when additional classroom coverage is needed. Shift times will vary depending on when the coverage is needed, but will never be earlier than 6:30am or later than 6pm. The candidate would be called and given the date and time of the shift(s) ahead of time. Covering a teacher’s vacation may provide the opportunity to work a full week or multiple days in a row. This position requires that the candidate is willing to work in any of the three classrooms (infant, toddler, preschool). Child abuse clearances and state background check required. A minimum of two years experience working with children is required. This can include volunteer work, church help, etc.

Member Service Representatives

Energetic, motivated, outside-the-box thinkers wanted to work at our Welcome Center. The Carlisle Family YMCA has openings for part-time Member Service Representatives. Variety of shifts available. Must be able to work weekends. Strong sales and customer service experience a plus. Must have computer and internet skills.

Member Services representatives shifts are generally 4+ hours (standing) long 2 or 3 days a week with rotating weekend shifts. All applicants must be able to effectively multi-task while working your scheduled shift. Job responsibilities of a the position include, but are not limited to:
• Customer Service
• Membership Sales
• Promoting programs
• Point of contact in facility and/or medical emergencies
• Required to attend a monthly staff meeting and/or training
• Various other small projects as assigned
